This is a great plugin… but seconding Jaap, it’s not working for Wordpress 2.5 anymore :-(

If you do release an update, could you please tell it to ignore protected and draft posts/pages?

What a great, stunning plugin this is! Al thought I have to give you an update about it; since I just installed WP 2.5 (<– That’s great 2!) you’re plugin doesn’t work anymore… I’m not a great programmer, and couldn’t figure it out myself, otherwise I would have… But just so you know!

Hi, I get the exact same message at the top of my blog as the one Moko commented about, got any ideas? I pointed out that code was in “live_search.php” like Lee wrote but how do I fix this? Thanks!

John, thanks for creating this plugin. It’s excellent. The problem I’m having is that it finds my “draft” posts. I obviously don’t want these included until I “publish” them. I sometimes work on a post for a week or more before finalizing it. Are you aware of this?

Hi John, I think the problem which Monko has pointed out relates to the file “live_search.php” and the shorthand PHP start tag.

That is the php that adds the javascript include and such to the html head element. Seems like wordpress or php is not working correctly. There is nothing in my plugin that would cause the above. The only issue noted so far with the plugin is that it doesn’t work without pretty permalinks enabled.

Something strange happening here. When I installed it on one site, it worked fine, on a complex site with lots of other plugins. When I installed it on a new site, with a clean WP installation, every page, in the main view and in the dashboard, gets garbage at the top of the page as follows:

‘ . “\n”; echo ” . “\n”; echo ‘ ‘; echo ” . “\n”; } add_action(‘wp_head’, ‘addicted_add’); ?>

Any thoughts on why this sohuld be?

Of course, the plugin also doesn’t work when exhibirting this odd behaviour.
