Thanks a ton for this blog entry. I was working on Dreamhost with a frozen edge version of Rails right between those two patch dates. I was able to fix it in a couple of minutes after reading this.

Steve helped me set up his “DreamDeploy” script which seemed to work really well. If you get a newer version of it, let me know. Also, Steve: you should release that thing to the wild when you get a chance.
