Dibs on Last
April 28th, 2005
You never hear that do ya? Nobody likes last. Last place, last breath, last supper. Last is an inherently sad word. Tomorrow is my last day at Digital Hill. Last. I really like Digital Hill, so the fact that it is my last day, makes me sad. It’s hard to find a job you like. Why then? Why would I leave a job I enjoy? Two words. Starts with an “N” and ends with a “otre Dame.” I am excited to announce that I will be joining the University of Notre Dame’s Webgroup as Assistant Web Developer. The quality of their work is exceptional, the guys are great, they require web standards, and I can get season tickets. My kind of group and my kind of job. Last days suck, but knowing what the future has in store is pretty exciting.
